Presentation Description: As Data Lakes grow, the traditional and cloud sources in the enterprise have not disappeared. Most companies have a hybrid environment where the data resides across Data Lakes, traditional on-prem sources, and in the cloud. As data lakes get filled with vast and diverse data, the quality and consistency of the data at times is questionable and accessibility becomes more complex. The perception of the cloud environment as a solution for all data issues, may not be as realistic as we wish.

Aside from the technological shifts, the cultural shifts in the organizations are driving the need for fast and trustful data access. Governance becomes even more critical in the hybrid environments and extended consumer exposure. How do we enable our business users to get data they are looking for? How can we measure the value of the data in such hybrid environments? Is the Data Fabric the answer, or is there more to the picture? Let’s discover the possibilities of the fabric together.
