Join DAMA Iowa with our host DAMA Minnesota and speaker Anthony J Algim on ‘Quantify, Amplify, Act Bookending Data Management: How Technologies and Metrics, Measurements, and KPIs facilitate successful Data-Driven Organizations’.
While we reasonably focus much of our energies on data itself, data alone does not make an organization successful. There are a tapestry of tools, functions, processes, and people to complement our data assets and derive value from them. In this talk we’ll explore two of the most important: data technologies and quantification.
Anthony J. Algmin is the Founder and CEO of Algmin Data Leadership, a company helping business and technology leaders transform their future with data. With decades of experience in business and hands-on technology roles, Anthony brings better data management to organizations of all kinds. He has led data change initiatives in many industries, serving as a project manager, data architect, and Chief Data Officer. Anthony wrote the first book focused on Data Leadership, available at DataLeadershipBook.com. A popular speaker and Data Leadership advocate, Anthony makes frequent appearances at conferences and other events. He has a bachelor’s degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. Anthony lives with his wife and three children in suburban Chicago.
